Improved semiautomated method for assay of phosphorus in serum phospholipids.

چکیده
A dependable automated method for the analysis of phospholipids would be highly desirable, because manual proceduresfortheir assay are long and tedious. One such procedure has been proposed by Whitley and Album foruse with an AutoAnalyzer (Technicon Instruments Corp., Tarrytown, N.Y. 10591). The chemical basis of this system is sound, and has been des#{243}ribed in detail (1). However, the method has been unsatisfactory in our experience, principally because of deficiencies in the construction of the flow system. With the modifications described in this report these problemshave beeneliminated.
